The Tipton County Public Library has formed a Speakers Bureau of library personnel that are willing to address civic and service organizations about library services, programs and issues. Topics include General Services, Genealogy and Local History, Children's Services, Library Programs, Technology, Special Programs, Education and Training, Media, Outreach, and Material Selection and Collections.
General Services: Covers all the library services in general.
Genealogy and Local History: A brief description of the materials available in the Indiana Room and materials on Tipton and Tipton County.
Children's Services: Covers all library services made available to children.
Library Programs: An overview of upcoming library programs.
Special Programs: Library staff will do a special program such as a booktalk, poetry reading or special reading.
Technology: An overview of the library technology available to the public.
Education and Training: An overview of library training that is available to the public such as computer classes or bibliographic instruction.
Media: An overview of the different types of library media and equipment that are available to the public.
Outreach: Covers the library outreach services that are available to Tipton County residents and organizations.
Material selection and collections: Covers special collections and how materials are selected.
